Not long ago, we informed you that Samsung decided to change its philosophy for the production of televisions. According to him, the best of OLED technology is behind it, and the QLED televisions that South Koreans are trying to push into ordinary households are also not the real deal. That's why Samsung decided to take a bold step - to bet everything on the new microLED technology.

Samsung has already been working on microLED technology, which should improve not only TVs in the future. However, the work is still not going according to expectations and the whole process is taking an unprecedented amount of time. However, according to the latest reports, the South Koreans decided to invest even more in the project to develop the right alternative that would meet their requirements and would not be complicated to manufacture. It is the technical problems of this kind that are allegedly holding Samsung back, and it is only because of them that they have not yet implemented microLED in their televisions. However, if he succeeds in this step, it is only a matter of time before he presents us with the first swallows.

This is what a QLED TV looks like:

The TV market has changed

Samsung would need it like salt to succeed. The television industry is slipping through his fingers, and only an impulse in the form of television that will stun the world can help him. OLED televisions do not attract people as much anymore and fall into oblivion year after year. For example, since 2015, Samsung's OLED TV market share has fallen from 57% to just 20%. This was caused, among other things, by LG's OLED TV, which offers its users a really high-quality image that, according to all available information, even Samsung's QLED cannot compete with in sales.

Perhaps Samsung has not missed the train in this regard and microLED televisions will catch on again in the world. After all, this is to be expected from a company of this size.
