Although Bixby is a rather interesting digital assistant, it has not garnered the kind of response Samsung expected from its users. Indeed, many rather refer to her as a kind of rascal who is trying to catch up with already well-established assistants from Apple or Google. According to them, Bixby is significantly weaker and lacks many things that competing assistants can offer. However, that will probably change soon.

Portal resources Korea Herald reported that Samsung will release a new tweaked version of its assistant - Bixby 2.0 - next week. He is said to boast about it at the developer conference on October 18 in San Francisco.

The South Korean giant has reportedly hired a new executive to improve Bixby, who should develop the potential of Bixby and other AI services in the future. However, according to the available information, it is rather a long shot, and even if Bixby 2.0 is presented with nice improvements, its golden era is still ahead of us.

Noticeable improvements

The main benefit of the new Bixby should be a much better integration of third-party services, thanks to which Bixby should be far ahead of the competition. The new Bixby should also be able to control all products supporting Samsung Smart Home, which the South Korean giant is also trying to promote. So far, however, these conjectures are unfounded.

Let's see what the improved Bixby will eventually deliver to us. However, due to the release of Bixby to other countries, it is quite likely that only users in South Korea will initially enjoy the new versions. However, let us be surprised.
