The camera in a mobile phone is quite a useful thing these days. Samsung has moved considerably forward in this direction with the launch of its flagships Galaxy S7 and S8. But what if it stops working for you?

In recent months, cases of complaints with the rear camera, specifically with focusing, are starting to increase. This is mainly manifested when the camera is turned on, when the image remains blurry and cannot be focused in any way. Even turning the camera on and off repeatedly or gently tapping around it helps. It follows that it will be a mechanical defect. There is no need to perform a factory reset as it would not matter.

The reason?

According to unofficial sources, excessive shaking or dropping of the phone could be the reason for this error. This is when the focusing mechanism could be damaged. Since the construction of the camera is so miniature, it might not be out of the question. Samsung has not yet officially commented on these issues.

An update was released recently that fixed the camera issues, but not enough. We know from user experience that the problem can be permanently eliminated only by replacing the defective camera, when the problems no longer occur. In the event that this problem manifests itself in a higher intensity, it is a good idea to visit an authorized service center, where this problem will be checked and eliminated.

If you have experienced a similar annoyance with this particular model and this bug, you can share it in the comments.
