It seems that the interest of South Koreans in the new Samsung Galaxy Note8 does not stop even with the passage of time. According to the latest data obtained by analytical companies in South Korea, phones are being sold literally like on a treadmill.

News published by the server today Sammobile, talks about an incredible ten to twenty thousand units of the new phablet sold per day. That's an incredible feat considering a phone that hit store shelves about a month ago. However, this did not put some analysts off guard. The Note series is said to be very popular among Samsung users and is still going strong despite last year's fiasco.

But let's get back to the numbers, because there are never enough of them in the case of the Note8. A comparison of the number of pre-orders of last year's and this year's models has also appeared. Note8 surpassed last year's model almost twice and stopped at 850 pre-orders (in South Korea).

So you probably won't be surprised that the Note8 is the best-selling smartphone in South Korea in recent weeks. In the second week of October, the 64GB model accounted for 28% of all smartphone sales. If we then add the model with 256GB to it, we get significantly higher numbers. So it is more than clear that the Note8 is literally a phenomenon.

Destined for success?

Although Samsung probably won't let me down, I'm probably not that surprised. As I wrote above, the Note series has been very popular for many years. In addition, the S8 model also had a similar start in South Korea, the Note8, which offers similar features, should have followed it according to the assumptions of all analysts. However, no one probably expected such numbers. So let's be surprised how far the Note8 craze will go.
