You could read about the affair of Samsung heir Lee Jae-yong, who is slowly beginning to serve his five-year prison sentence for corruption, on our website not long ago. However, so far it seemed that this will not have any significant effect on the South Korean giant and its operation will not be threatened. However, voices are beginning to be heard directly from management that confirm certain concerns.

The management of the technology giant apparently counted on the fact that when Jae-yong served his sentence, he would take the helm of the company. However, five years is a damn long time, especially in the situation in which Samsung finds itself. A few days ago, the CEO of the company, Kwon Oh-hyun, also announced his departure from management. According to his words, with this step he wants to achieve a more flexible leadership that will be able to respond more quickly to world trends. According to him, there is a lack of young blood in Samsung's management and there was simply no other option than his departure.

Behind the scenes informace however, it is more about the fact that the management of the company is in a significant crisis and the revival of a prosperous company is not the case with the departure of the top representative. Internal disagreements appear to be a far more likely option, which could have been caused by the imprisonment of one of Samsung's top representatives. As it seems, the outgoing director did not think that appointing Lee Jae-yong to the highest posts after the end of his sentence was a lucky choice. After all, even at a recent business meeting in Washington, he reportedly said that the current state of the company is more or less good, but that he sees a problem in the long term.

We'll see how the whole situation surrounding Samsung's management will be clarified in the end. However, it is already clear that the situation is quite serious and internal disputes can easily bury the company. So there is nothing left but to hope that the whole family will agree on a compromise and hold the company's reins firmly.
