Google has started to test the function of instant applications in its Play Store (Instant Apps), which allows you to try out the app before you actually install it on your phone. The novelty thus allows you to quickly glance at the application and get a picture of whether it is worth downloading.

The Instant Apps feature is really in the early stages of testing, as only a handful of apps currently support it. The developer himself has to implement the novelty into his application, so for now only the biggest players in the business are starting with it, which currently includes, for example, the New York Times.

If you want to test the function on your phone, just go to the App Store and search for the game NYTimes - Crossword, click it to see more information, and then press the Try button. However, keep in mind that the instant app may not support some phones. You must have at least Android 5.0 and then it also depends on the resolution, the processor and the country in which the phone was purchased.
