In the past few days, we have informed you on our website that Samsung has recently been very focused on the development of its televisions. Its share in this market has fallen uncomfortably in recent months, and the South Korean giant wants to take it back. However, according to the latest report from South Korea, it seems to be on the right track.

A message posted by a website yonhapnews, is based on the claim that despite the exodus of Samsung customers, demand for high-end TVs is very strong. And it is with the improvements and innovations that Samsung is developing that it will return to the limelight again.

A very strong player should be QLED TVs, which definitely meet the requirements for the highest quality. However, since Samsung only revealed them at the beginning of this year, they are not that widespread in the world. But that is about to change, according to the report. The most optimistic estimates even speak of a very decent share of 10% of the total sales of all TVs from Samsung, which is great for a product of this price category.

The survey on which the report is based also indicated that they would go for a 65” or larger TV. So customers probably don't mind spending a lot of money on a new TV. After all, this will become clear already in the first months of next year. The survey claims that around 40% of such large televisions will be sold in these months and their price will be at least $2500 per piece. So let's be surprised if Samsung succeeds in this in the end. However, there is also the possibility that QLED televisions will be phased out and smoothly transition to the new, more advanced microLED technology. However, it has not yet been completely mastered and it is difficult to say when it will be.
