Just Apple se v posledních týdnech a měsících ve spojení s LG skloňoval nejčastěji. Není totiž žádným tajemstvím, že se v posledních letech snaží co nejvíce osamostatnit a od Samsungu úplně odtrhnout. Přechod k LG by tak byl v rámci přechodné fáze, ve které by se Apple pokusil vybudovat OLED linky své, vcelku logické řešení. Vzhledem ke kvalitě jejich displejů se ale podobný scénář jeví jako značně nepravděpodobný. Apple tak závislý ještě nějakou chvíli zůstane.
