Although we are on a new Samsung Galaxy The Note8 has only been praised so far, it seems that even it will not escape minor defects. On technology forums around the world, posts have started to appear more and more often, in which users complain that their otherwise problem-free phone freezes from time to time.

Although the cause of the problem is not yet known, most of the contributions in the discussion have a common denominator – the Contacts application or an error caused by a call or SMS. It is during these actions that the failure rate of the device is more significant. At least Samsung can be happy that the error is most likely only of a software nature and that it did not make its phones incorrectly.

Either way, the only solutions to this problem are either a hard reboot or a battery drain. Unfortunately, this solution is only short-term. Users report that despite efforts such as restoring factory settings, uninstalling applications or clearing the cache, they did not get rid of the unpleasant error and had to "kick" their phones again in a rather violent way.

The only consolation can be that we will see a new version of the operating system relatively soon Android. Oreo is already around the corner and after the new year, it is probably going to be on the phones of the South Korean giant. So let's hope that by switching to it, this bug will be removed and the reputation of otherwise perfect phones will not be tarnished by anything.
