Although a few years ago the clamshell phone was a real phenomenon and many people used it, with the transition to smartphones the general part of society stopped producing it and let this type of phone almost disappear. However, the South Korean Samsung is constantly aware of its popularity and has been working hard on folding models recently.
Some time ago, we brought you information about the fact that one "cap" from the Samsung workshop has already started to be sold in China, and the second, significantly more inflated, is apparently on the way. Although South Korean engineers have only recently started testing it, according to the latest news, it seems that we are already close to its introduction.

There is absolutely no need to be ashamed of the equipment
In the gallery that you could see above this paragraph, you can see what is probably a test model of Samsung codenamed W2018 in all its glory. The 4,2" double-sided Full HD touchscreen looks really great in combination with the gold and black color of the phone. However, the novelty will not try to attract attention by itself only with its design, because the hardware is also really good. The Snapdragon 835 processor, together with 6 GB of RAM memory, ensures really great performance, which should be roughly comparable to this year's S8 flagships.
The new "cap" can't complain about the battery capacity either. Even 2300 mAh should be enough for all-day operation without any problems. If we also add a twelve-megapixel camera on the back, next to which the fingerprint sensor can be seen in the photos, or 64 GB of internal memory, we get a really interesting piece that even the most demanding user will not despise.
However, if you have already started grinding your teeth on the new "cap", hold back a little longer. As the previous model was only sold in China, the same fate may befall this model. But maybe Samsung will decide differently and will try to revive the flip phone phenomenon in the world. There would indeed be many users who would reach for it straight away. However, it's hard to say whether they would be willing to pay the price, which probably won't be for this beautiful piece of hardware
