Do you find current smartphone battery life dismal? Then the following lines will probably really please you. The South Korean Samsung boasted a great invention, thanks to which it will be able to create future batteries with a much longer life. But that's not all.

A patent recently registered by Samsung confirms the completion of technology development for graphene batteries. These should reportedly have roughly 45% more endurance than the current Li-Pol batteries, which would ensure their enormous popularity in practically all products in which accumulators are used.

Another great benefit that graphene batteries can boast of is their charging speed. The time required to recharge the battery should be significantly reduced with a new battery. The most favorable estimates even talk about five times faster charging, which would practically destroy current fast chargers.

The future of electric cars?

Due to the excellent properties, according to some, these batteries are even hot candidates for use in electric cars, which according to many people are considered an inevitable evolution of the automotive industry. But it is clear to everyone that before proceeding with the implementation of these batteries in electric cars, they must undergo thorough testing that will show whether they really have the potential that Samsung attributes to them.
