For many years, the South Korean giant has relied heavily on the fact that it has a wide range of safety features in its flagships, from which everyone can choose their own. In addition to the iris scan, face, fingerprint, classic pin or pattern, however, Samsung wants to have one more very interesting authentication option in its phones.

According to the latest patents that Samsung recently patented, it looks like we could even see a palm scan in the future. The structure of the palm is unique to each person and, according to Samsung, it would be very difficult to imitate. However, according to available information, the palm scan would be used a little differently and unlocking the phone would not be its primary function.

Ingeniously solved help

According to Samsung, many users forget their phone password from time to time and have to painstakingly reset it. However, thanks to the palm scan, the lengthy refresh process would be over, and when the palm is placed, the phone would display a certain hint that the user would set in advance. According to that, he should then remember his password and get into the phone without any problem.

Help for unlocking the phone should be tailored to each phone user so that they immediately remember the password after viewing it. Apparently, it might not just be a simple text or number, but also a tangle of different lines or, at first glance, illogically arranged words all over the display.

We will see if Samsung decides to use a similar authentication method or not. The idea is certainly interesting, but the question is whether it is at all usable nowadays. However, let us be surprised, perhaps such a solution would take our breath away.
