Samsung introduced the Mobile service Care, insurance for flagship models for CZK 159 per month

Today's smart phones are powerful, offer a giant display and often a great design, but on the other hand, they are much more fragile and therefore more prone to falls than old phones from ten years ago. The vast majority of us have already managed to damage some of our phones, most often breaking the screen. Samsung is also aware of this and is therefore now launching a new Mobile service in the Czech Republic Care, which is essentially insurance against accidental damage to the phone.

Samsung Mobile Care currently applies to selected smartphones from Samsung, specifically last year's and last year's flagship models Galaxy S7, S7 edge, S8, S8+ and Note8. The insurance is arranged for two years directly upon purchase of the phone or within 30 days of purchase, provided that the phone has not been damaged so far.

As a customer, you can choose how you will pay the insurance premium - either once for the entire 2 years or monthly for 24 months. In the case of a one-off payment, the amount is set at CZK 3, for regular installments, the payment is CZK 399 per month. With simple calculations, you will come to the conclusion that the one-time price is a few hundred more favorable. The insurance premium is negotiated through this website or through the application Samsung Members. If you purchase Samsung Mobile services CarIf you change your mind, you have the right to withdraw within 14 days of concluding the insurance contract.

With Samsung Mobile service Care phones are protected against accidental damage that limits the functionality of the smartphone, including damage to the display. As the owner of the phone, you are entitled to liquidation of 2 insurance claims during the two-year insurance period. A big advantage of the service is that all repairs will always be carried out only by authorized Samsung technicians using original parts. Using Samsung's authorized service centers also means that the customer does not risk losing the standard product warranty through repair. During the repair at an authorized service center, the customer will also have the opportunity to take advantage of expert consultations across the entire product portfolio provided by trained customer center experts (representatives of authorized Samsung service partners). The service's insurance partner is Allianz Global Assistance.

Definition of accidental damage:

At the specified time and place when the insured product ceases to work normally and its functionality or its safety is affected due to errors in its handling, liquid or external events that are unforeseeable and unintentional (unless excluded in Article 3 of the Insurance Conditions). It includes:

• Screen damage: physical damage such as cracking or shattering of the screen that affects the functionality of the product and is limited to the components needed to fix cracks or breaks and the back glass such as glass/plastic screen, LCD and sensors fixed on the screen.
• Other damages: damage caused by accidental spillage of liquid into or on the insured product and any physical damage that may occur, other than damage to the screen, preventing access to the mobile device software or the ability to charge.
