If you were secretly hoping that with the new ones Galaxy Compared to last year's models, the S9 and S9+ will have slightly larger batteries, we will probably disappoint you with the following lines. According to the latest information, it seems that Samsung really did not deviate too much from last year's models and took over the battery size from them.

Battery capacity has been confirmed by China-based parts retailer Union Repair. He has uploaded photos of the batteries for this year's flagships to his website, which reveal the capacity. According to them, we should expect a classic 9 mAh battery for the smaller S3000 model, while Samsung will bet on a battery with a capacity of 9 mAh for the larger S3500+.

However, the same battery capacity as last year does not necessarily mean that Samsung will not move forward with its endurance. In the past weeks and months, we heard quite often that Samsung focused on reducing the consumption of the chipset and optimizing the system as best as possible, which could also greatly help the battery life. As a result, we could squeeze a few extra hours of battery life out of the phone.

It's hard to say at this point whether today's battery leak is real or not. Given that the introduction of the new model is fast approaching, I personally would not be too surprised at the authenticity of today's information. It is quite likely that Samsung has decided to slowly distribute the components for its new flagships to retailers, thus preparing a fertile ground well in advance on which its new flagship would only flourish after the launch of sales.
