A few days ago, we informed you on our website that Samsung started slowly releasing the update Android 8.0 Oreo on its flagships Galaxy S8 and S8+. However, he unexpectedly abandoned this step yesterday and stopped distributing updates. Thanks to his statement, we now know why this happened.

According to the statement provided by Samsung to our colleagues from the portal Sammobile, some updated flagship models were experiencing unexpected reboots that appeared on them just after updating to the new Android. Samsung has therefore decided to stop the distribution of the update as a precaution and fix the firmware so that no similar problems will occur after the distribution of the update is restarted.

The whole fact is quite interesting also due to the fact that the beta software was on Galaxy The S8 was tested for quite a long time, which should have eliminated similar problems. However, it seems that even the beta testing process, which involves a lot of testers, will not ensure the perfection of the software.

So we will see when Samsung will decide on a fixed version of the system Android 8.0 Oreo relaunch. However, it is already clear that some markets will have to wait much longer than they assumed until recently. Hopefully this problem will be solved as soon as possible and it will not affect other models.
