The GFXbench benchmark results revealed a lot of key specs about Samsung's upcoming tablet. Flagship Galaxy According to benchmark tests, the Tab S4 has a 10,5-inch display with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, which means that the tablet has an aspect ratio of 16:10, while the predecessor Galaxy The Tab S3 has a 4:3 aspect ratio.

Return to the original aspect ratio?

Same model Galaxy The Tab S4 also appeared in the HTML5 benchmark test. Although the HTML5 benchmark does not reveal any key specifications, it again suggests that the tablet's display will have an aspect ratio of 16:10. It further states that the device is running on the system Android 8.0. However, the resolution, which according to HTML5 is only 1280×800 pixels, is controversial.

This is what the predecessor looks like Galaxy Tab S3:

Samsung introduced the first generation Galaxy Tab S in 2014, which boasted a SuperAMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 16:10. From the model Galaxy The Tab S2 saw Samsung switch to the more popular 4:3 aspect ratio to better compete with other flagship tablets on the market. if Galaxy The Tab S4 will return to the 16:10 aspect ratio, meaning it will have the same aspect ratio as the first tablet Galaxy Tab S. But for now, it's unclear why Samsung would go back to the old aspect ratio when almost all premium tablets on the market have a 4:3 aspect ratio.

Do not forget that benchmark results can be falsified, so you need to take them with a grain of salt.
