Samsung is apparently preparing to revise the series Galaxy J. Benchmark websites were flooded with new models from the series Galaxy J, which could soon see the light of day. Many of the mentioned phones also appeared on the list of unannounced devices Galaxy, which was found in the leaked Oreo firmware for Galaxy Footnote8.

After the alleged Galaxy J4, Galaxy J6 and American variant Galaxy J3 in the databases Geekbench also discovered a device with the numerical designation SM-J800FN. If we were to take into account the current model numbers and their names, then it would mean that the SM-J800FN will be Galaxy J8. In addition to the benchmark, there is other evidence, for example, that a firmware is being developed for the Galaxy J8.

Galaxy J8 with Exynos 7870 chip

According to the benchmark results, it is Galaxy J8 powered by Exynos 7870 processor clocked at 1,6GHz and 3GB RAM. The device runs on Androidat 8.0. The Exynos 7870 is an octa-core processor that is also used in other phones in the series Galaxy J, as they are Galaxy J5 (2017), Galaxy J7 (2017) a Galaxy J7 Prime. The specifications basically do not change significantly and are almost the same as u Galaxy J7.
