Of course, Samsung immediately stopped the spread of this update and began working hard on a fix that should return everything to normal. The South Korean giant finally succeeded a few days ago and released a revised version of its update again. The updated software brings "only" two novelties, but they are more than pleasant.
The new update improves the stability of the Gear S3's Bluetooth connection, so you should experience significantly less issues between the watch and your smartphone. However, the main bonus should be the improved battery life, which should be significantly longer again. However, at this point it is very hard to say whether Samsung has actually managed to deliver on its promise. Battery life will be best tested in the next few days.
