The South Korean giant is quite fond of the various limited editions of its flagships. In past years, he has already carried out similar experiments in some markets and has always met with great response. A similar success can be assumed now. Samsung and the Vodafone operator in the Netherlands presented a new limited edition of their new phones Galaxy S9 and S9+. It is mainly aimed at lovers of speed and burnt tires.

The new version unveiled by the two companies is called the Red Bull Ring. The more astute among you have probably already guessed that Samsung named it after the Austrian racing circuit, on which Formula 1 races, for example. . In terms of hardware, this limited edition was practically untouched. The only thing that differs from the classic models is the special Red Bull cover and the user interface, which is enriched with several wallpapers with a racing theme. Interestingly, after removing this cover, it returns Galaxy S9 "to normal" and its user interface looks like any other model. According to the available information, the cover should be at least partially "smart" and when deployed, it should activate certain processes in the phone using NFC.

It is also quite interesting that if you buy this edition from April 16 to May 27 with a tariff from Vodafone, you will receive two tickets to the Austrian Grand Prix as a bonus. Unfortunately, you will have to pay for the travel and accommodation yourself. Even so, this event is quite interesting.
