It hasn't been that long since the first ones appeared in the world informace that Samsung is going to rebrand its premium smartphone line Galaxy S. Next year, we should see the tenth generation of this smartphone, which should bring a whole range of innovations, and in order to emphasize them even more, Samsung could bet on a completely new designation that will be unprecedented in the world. However, it looks like the South Korean giant's premium smartphone line isn't the only thing getting a rebrand.

Samsung has registered new trademarks for the Samsung names Galaxy Watch a Galaxy Fit. It is more or less clear from the name itself that it is a designation for watches and smart bracelets. However, the South Korean giant currently refers to them as Gear, respectively Gear and the exact designation of the model (for example, Gear S3 classic). But that could be the end.

With the new label, Samsung would be able to perfectly differentiate its watches between those for everyday wear and those focused mainly on sports, which could help its customers in any purchases. It is true that orientation in the Gear series is not exactly easy and if someone tells you Gear S3, it is difficult to recall the exact model (that is, if it is a smartwatch you are not interested and are rather laymen). However, if the watch had a name Galaxy Fit, it would immediately be clear to everyone that this is a model intended mainly for athletes.

So let's see what kind of watch we get this year. But it is quite likely that the Gear S4, whose arrival has been speculated for some time, will be presented by Samsung precisely as Galaxy Watch. However, let us be surprised.
