What was only speculated about in the past weeks finally came true yesterday. Samsung has finally introduced the long-awaited Galaxy With Light Luxury, which until recently was referred to as Galaxy S8 Lite. From the name itself, it is more or less clear that this is a kind of lighter and smaller version of last year's flagship. So let's take a look at its official parameters together.

At yesterday's presentation, Samsung confirmed practically everything that has been speculated about so far. The new phone has a 5,8" Full HD display with an aspect ratio of 18,5:9. It also has an 8 MPx camera on the front, which will allow users to take high-quality selfie photos. The back of the phone is decorated with a 16 MPx camera, next to which there is a fingerprint sensor. As expected, however, you won't find the heart rate sensor here, which Samsung left out due to the price.

Decent battery capacity and nice performance

As for the inside of the phone, you will find a Snapdragon 660 processor with 4 GB of RAM memory and 64 GB of internal storage expandable with microSD cards. Although the entire smartphone is relatively small, Samsung managed to fit a battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh, which is really very decent and will guarantee the phone a relatively long life. The phone is then running the latest Android 8.0 Oreo.

With the new S Light Luxury, Samsung has of course kept the IP68 dust and water resistance or the physical Bixby launch button. It is therefore clear that Samsung's artificial assistant is also available with this model. Support for wireless charging, unlocking through an iris scan or facial recognition and, of course, LTE support will also please you.

However, as we have already informed you several times, this model is only intended for the Chinese market. Samsung will sell it there for about $625. If customers then pre-order this phone before June 1st, they will get it even cheaper at $578. The price is really very favorable and it is more or less clear that if Samsung were to sell this model in other markets, it would be a great success. Perhaps so large that it would push even current flagships Galaxy S9 in the background.
