We live in a "smart" world that offers us an abundance of enhancers for our daily functioning. We have already gotten used to smart phones and televisions in the past few years, and we are just starting to get used to other products, as we were used to using only their "stupid" versions until now. We got by just fine with those, but why not make using them a little more enjoyable? That's exactly how Samsung engineers think, according to information obtained by editors from the Wall Street Journal. They have come up with a really interesting plan that could be truly revolutionary in many ways.

According to available information, the South Korean giant is determined to implement artificial intelligence and the Internet in all its products by 2020. Thanks to this, a truly unbeatable ecosystem could be created, which would connect practically the entire household and at the same time be controlled, for example, only by using a mobile phone. Artificial intelligence would then take over part of the responsibility for people, who would therefore find it much easier to function in such a household. In theory, we could expect, for example, that the refrigerator itself would regulate the temperature in a certain drawer depending on what kind of meat a person just bought.

Is the revolution coming?

According to available information, about 52 million households in the US had at least one smart speaker last year, and this number is expected to increase to a whopping 2022 million households by 280. From this, Samsung probably deduces that there is an interest in "smart" things and believes that its plan to unify all its products and allow them to receive instructions and react to each other will captivate the world.

Behind the artificial intelligence that should be hidden in Samsung products, we should not look for anyone else than Bixby, which should see its second generation this year. By 2020, we can expect other interesting improvements that will take its capabilities to a completely new level, making it significantly more valid.

So we'll see how Samsung manages to realize his vision. However, since he is working really hard on AI and pushing its limits further, success is to be expected. But only time will tell whether this will actually happen in two years. There is no doubt that he still has a long way to go.
