Samsung on its flagship models Galaxy The S9 and S9+ have silently disabled call recording via third-party apps. However, the South Korean giant did not offer its own solution, so users began to complain en masse, and the removal of the mentioned function was also one of the parts of the recent lawsuit against the company. Therefore, Samsung has now decided to return support for call recording and in some countries even came up with its own function built directly into the native application.

The company eventually decided to integrate the call recording feature directly into the calling app. After updating the system it is possible to Galaxy S9 to Galaxy S9+ record calls via native feature. As it is illegal in some countries to record calls without consent, the feature is not available worldwide. For now, it can be used by users in Romania, the Netherlands, Russia, Swedencarsku, Spain and Great Britain. However, the function should be gradually extended to other countries.

In countries where the native feature isn't available, users don't have to worry because app developers have already found a way to record calls even on the latest smartphones. While third-party apps won't work exactly like Samsung's features, it's still better than nothing.
