They would have the same name as phones and tablets from the South Korean giant. However, the watch is not the only thing that will receive a name change soon.
According to Sammobile's well-informed sources, Samsung is also considering renaming its popular Gear VR headset to Galaxy VR. Of course, this move would make sense given the renaming of the watch and would greatly help Samsung in unifying its portfolio. Name Galaxy because it would pervade the vast majority of its products, thanks to which customers could better navigate them.
