It looks like Samsung wants to unify its product portfolio as much as possible. It is not so long ago that we informed you that it will rename its Gear and Gear Fi watches to Galaxy Watch a Galaxy Fit, thanks to which you could no longer mistake them for practically anything. They would have the same name as phones and tablets from the South Korean giant. However, the watch is not the only thing that will receive a name change soon.

According to Sammobile's well-informed sources, Samsung is also considering renaming its popular Gear VR headset to Galaxy VR. Of course, this move would make sense given the renaming of the watch and would greatly help Samsung in unifying its portfolio. Name Galaxy because it would pervade the vast majority of its products, thanks to which customers could better navigate them.

Labeled headset Galaxy VR could theoretically be introduced as early as next year alongside the new flagships Galaxy S10 and S10+, which should be revolutionary in many ways, at least according to the information so far. A few days ago, we informed you on our website about ultra-fine displays from the Samsung workshop, which would be perfect for similar projects. So it is possible that Samsung will plant them in this product.

So we'll see how the whole situation regarding the new headsets plays out. However, it can be expected that new ones will appear in the coming days or weeks informace, which slightly reveals the veil of mystery surrounding this product.
