In the last few weeks, most of the talk has been about the upcoming phablet Galaxy Note9. However, Samsung is not idle and is also working on other devices, one of which is codenamed SM-J260. This is a smartphone that will run on a modified Androidu intended for cheap devices, i.e. on Androidat Go.

According to the benchmark, the phone will have a quad-core Exynos 7570 processor with a clock frequency of 1,4 GHz and 1 GB of RAM, while the weak equipment is the reason why the South Korean giant decided to use a trimmed Android Go.

Furthermore, the smartphone will offer an 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera, a 2mAh battery and 600GB of internal storage. Apparently, the selling name of the device, which is marked as SM-J16, will be Galaxy J2 Core. A label that started circulating on the Internet further suggests that Galaxy The J2 Core will get a 5-inch Super AMOLED display.

Several variants appeared in tests, namely the SM-J260G, SM-J260F and SM-J260M, each targeting a different market. For example, the SM-J260F model is being tested in Great Britain, Uzbekistan, the Caucasus, Germany, Italy, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, France and Poland. However, it is not excluded that Galaxy J2 Core will not appear in our market either. The specifications should be almost the same for all models.
