Presentation of the new version of the phablet Galaxy The note for this year is coming unstoppably. After we learned a lot of interesting details about this news in the past weeks, the South Korean giant also revealed the date of the presentation to us a few days ago. However, the date of the launch of sales was still shrouded in mystery. But that is changing today.

The Korean portal ETNews came up with very interesting information, which managed to find out that the new Note9 should hit store shelves already on August 24, i.e. 15 days after the official presentation, which is scheduled for August 9 in New York. This year's model should arrive about three weeks earlier than last year. Of course, this is also due to the earlier performance, which is also about 3 weeks earlier.

There are two reasons for the earlier introduction to store shelves. The first one is without a doubt an effort to interest customers with a new smartphone even before the arrival of new iPhones, which every year cause a real frenzy in the world. Rather than fighting them directly, Samsung therefore prefers to choose the tactic of introducing its phone a few weeks before the iPhones, thus providing it with a de facto free field of action, when there is no very large and desirable competitor standing against it.

The second reason, which is also mentioned by the Korean portal, is the effort to at least somehow correct the not entirely successful sales of flagships Galaxy S9. They didn't bring about any giant revolution, so there isn't as much interest in them as Samsung would have expected. The earlier start of sales should at least partially eradicate their sales misery. Last year's Note8 broke sales records, so Samsung believes that it will succeed in something similar now.

It's hard to say at this point if we'll see the release of this model in all markets on one day this year, or if it will come to different countries in waves. But if the main reason was really bad sales Galaxy S9, one would expect Samsung to try to get it to all countries as soon as possible.
