In the fall, it will be one year since Google Pay (originally Android Pay) arrived on the domestic market. At the end of last year and especially in the first half of this year, the payment service expanded considerably, namely its support from several Czech banks. Similarly, the manufacturers of products and services themselves began to accept it, and now even FlixBus, a well-known long-distance bus carrier, has integrated it into its system.

FlixBus is the first long-distance bus operator in Europe to integrate Google Pay payment into its mobile app for smartphones running Android. The new feature will enable customers to purchase tickets faster and more securely without cash. Until now, it was possible to buy tickets from the green carrier as part of cashless payments in crowns by credit card and PayPal.

Users FlixBus app with the operating system Android now sees the "Buy with Google Pay" icon while purchasing tickets. Just a few clicks and the ticket and proof of purchase will be sent to the user account in the Google service.
