Although the operating system Android Oreo has been out for quite some time and Google released its successor 9.0 Pie a few days ago, Samsung is in no rush to update its phones to Oreo. According to the leak of the update schedule, it looks like it will release this operating system on its older models, mostly from the middle to lower class, only in the course of next year.

While last year's flagships have already received the update, owners of cheaper models will receive it during the first three months of next year. The exception will be the owners of the model Galaxy J7 Neo, which will receive an update already in December of this year.  You can see the screenshots showing the update schedule below this paragraph.

If you're the owner of one of the above models and were already going to circle your calendar for the month when Oreo will arrive, you should wait a little longer. Here too, Samsung will release the update in several waves, so it is quite likely that while Oreo will already run on your model abroad, it will not be available in the Czech Republic yet. For example, a software issue that will need to be fixed before the global rollout can further delay the update process. In theory, we could expect that while the new Samsung flagships are already on the new one Androidfor 9.0, it is yet to arrive on some models Android 8.0.
