When before the recent introduction of the phablet Galaxy With the Note9 rumored to be the first phone to launch a desktop interface without the need to connect to a special DeX dock, many fans of the South Korean giant were excited. Thanks to this innovation, creating a computer from a smartphone should have become much easier than ever before. This was then confirmed by Samsung itself at the official presentation of the Note9, which praised the simplicity of transforming a smartphone into a personal computer by simply connecting a monitor via a USB-C to HDMI adapter. But what if you don't want to invest in the adapter, which is obviously not included in the package, and you already have one DeX lying around at home?

For those of you, we have great, but perhaps expected, news. Samsung Galaxy Of course, the Note9 supports computer mode even when connected to the DeX dock or the second generation of this dock – the DeX Pad. Thanks to the dock, you can also connect classic wired accessories with USB connectors to the computer from the Note9, as it has the DeX connection interface. However, if you wanted to connect a mouse and keyboard directly to the Note9 not equipped with DeX, you would have to reach for wireless peripherals with Bluetooth support.

Thanks to the support of DeX docks in the Note9, Samsung has once again pushed its idea of simply creating a computer from a smartphone a little further. We will see what he has to offer us in this regard in the coming months.
