The games fair Gamescom 2018 is currently taking place in Cologne, Germany, and of course Samsung is also present. The South Korean company is exhibiting its range of advanced gaming monitors equipped with a super ultra-wide screen. In connection with this, yesterday at the trade fair, Samsung presented the new curved gaming monitor CJG5, which will also be sold on the Czech market in the course of the next month.
The newly developed 27-inch CJG5 monitor features key gaming technologies such as WQHD high resolution, curved display, 144Hz refresh rate and high contrast ratio. Optimized for gaming, the CJG5 bezel-less monitor provides a completely smooth and immersive gaming experience at a reasonable and affordable price and is backed by Samsung's technological know-how.

The monitor has a WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, which is four times higher than HD, and provides accurate and faithful images with deeper blacks, brighter whites and vibrant colors, as well as a high contrast ratio of 3000:1. Together with the curved VA panel and three-sided bezel-less design, the CJG5 creates an immersive environment that provides the most immersive gaming experience and minimizes eye fatigue. In addition, the 1mm arc radius curvature minimizes eye fatigue by reducing changes in the distance at which the user's eyes must focus. The CJG800 mimics the real world view, helping users who quickly shift their focus while playing games, even for extended periods of time.
The refresh rate of 144 Hz guarantees a highly agile, lag-free image that offers an excellent gaming experience. Modes designed for gaming and watching movies automatically optimize gamma and black display levels, contrast, sharpness and saturation for all genres of games and movies. Users can also instantly and easily check and adjust the settings of the most important picture parameters during the game using the OSD control menu with a gaming-style user interface.
In the Czech Republic, the new CJG5 curved gaming monitor will be available during September at a recommended price of CZK 8 for the 890-inch version.
