The nightmare from last year is repeating itself again. No, this is not the title of a B-movie or the description of a bestselling book. This is precisely how the repairability of the new Samsung could be briefly summarized Galaxy Note9. Its little brother from last year earned a repairability score of 4/10 (where 10 is the highest) from iFixit experts, which makes it a very difficult device to repair. Unfortunately, this year's Note9 is no better.

Gone are the days when mobile phone repair was a relatively simple matter. The new Note9 is a real pain to repair due to its complex construction. In addition, Samsung didn't skimp on the glue, which causes serious inconvenience when removing components. For example, even such a trivial thing as removing the battery causes a problem. She also really knows how to use glue.

As was the case with last year's model, in the new Note9 you will encounter a lot of very fragile components that are very easy to damage with a little clumsiness. So, if you belong to the type of customer who is not afraid of repairing current phones and likes to properly "poke around" in their guts, you should think twice. They will also have to deal with Note9 repairs in professional service centers, where they are equipped with far better quality tools for their repairs. Let's hope there won't be too many repairs though.
