Press Release:Western Digital, a global data storage company, has increased the maximum capacity of its most widely used and award-winning mobile flash drives to 256 GB. These are named products SanDisk iXpand. Comparable to the storage space of current iPhones and iPads, this new high-capacity flash allows users to take many more photos and record many more videos.
“Consumers are using the latest technology to record photos and videos in high 4K resolution at full gulps. Such technological advances require more storage. As such, consumers will continue to look for high-capacity standalone devices to make their digital lives easier,” said Neil Shah, research director at Counterpoint Research.
