What is accidental damage?

At the specified time and place when the insured product ceases to work normally and its functionality or its safety is affected due to errors in its handling, liquid or external events that are unforeseeable and unintentional (unless excluded in Article 3 of the Insurance Conditions). It includes:

  • Screen damage:physical damage such as cracking or shattering of the screen that affects the functionality of the product and is limited to the components needed to fix cracks or breaks and the back glass such as glass/plastic screen, LCD and sensors fixed on the screen.
  • Other damages:damage caused by accidental spillage of liquid into or on the insured product and any physical damage that may occur, other than damage to the screen, preventing access to the mobile device software or the ability to charge.
