Samsung is famous above all for system updates to its smartphones coming quite late. It usually takes more than six months before Samsung releases the update to the latest version to users Androidu. You can shorten the wait with the new screenshots that capture Android 9.0 Pie with the upgraded Samsung Experience 10.0 on the model Galaxy S9 +.

User interface

One of the most notable changes is a new dark environment called night theme, which makes Super AMOLED displays stand out perfectly. In the test setting, the dark environment is activated without the possibility to switch it to a light version, but Samsung will change that. Other design changes have been made to the cards and menus, which have rounded corners, which is also in the clear Androidat 9.0 Pie. The change is visible, for example, in notifications. The pull-down bar with switches, whose icons are circular, has also been redesigned. And the lock screen no longer has icons at the bottom, but only colored strips, and the clock is moved more to the center of the screen.

Multitasking is also worth mentioning, whereby you can move between applications horizontally, not vertically. Below the list of recently launched applications, you will also find a dock with the most frequently used applications.

Settings

Samsung brings a dark theme, as we mentioned above, so it will be possible to switch between light and dark themes, either manually or by setting a time when the environment should switch to dark mode. It will also be possible to set automatic brightness reduction in the settings. You can also adjust gestures and activate or deactivate movements in the settings. One of the new features is that the phone wakes up as soon as you pick it up from the table. Last but not least, Samsung brings gesture control, but it won't be the same as Google presented in pure form Androidat 9.0 Pie.

System applications

Samsung applications have also received design changes, which can adapt to both dark and light themes. Look specifically at apps Phone, News, File browser, Email whether Gallery.

Samsung Experience 10.0 will indeed bring big changes, but for now it is not clear how stable the system is, and therefore it is impossible to estimate when exactly Samsung will release the update. It seems that the public beta will see the light of day at the end of this year, and then the final version should be released early next year.
