The giant scandal with exploding Samsung batteries Galaxy Almost all of you remember the Note7. Samsung managed to show the world last year that the Note series is definitely not a dead model Galaxy The Note8 caught the attention of experts and the public, but according to available information, it is now investigating another serious problem regarding the series - this time, however, with the latest Galaxy Note9. One of its owners' phone suddenly exploded.

The whole incident took place already at the beginning of September, specifically ten days after the start of sales Galaxy Note9. The unfortunate man whose phone exploded says it all happened very quickly and the device was making a whistling and screeching sound before it was engulfed in flames. Subsequently, smoke began pouring out of it along with flames. It was the smoke that was the big problem, since the whole incident took place in the elevator - that is, in an enclosed space. Fortunately, one of the passengers, who saw the whole incident, reacted promptly, managed to at least partially extinguish the phone and, after opening the elevator, put it in a bucket of water.

Unfortunately, photos of the destroyed phone are not available. So at least you can see exactly what the Note9 looks like:

Samsung is facing its first lawsuit over the issue, demanding damages and even a ban on the sale of the Note9 due to the imminent danger. Of course, the South Korean giant is already investigating the whole incident and it is possible that it will issue a statement in the coming days. So let's hope this incident isn't a harbinger of impending disaster.
