Remember the uproar around the world after he controversially removed the 3,5mm jack from his iPhone 7 and 7 Plus? I bet you sure do. A step for which he received sharp criticism and which many of his customers can't sleep even now, but according to recent information, Samsung is also going to imitate it.

If you're expecting Samsung to remove the jack from some mid-range smartphone first to test customer reactions, you're wrong. According to new reports from the Korean portal ETNews, the South Korean giant is determined to remove the jack from the model Galaxy Note 10, which should be introduced to the world next summer. From now on, all future flagships should be without the classic connector.

We will wait for the adapter

However, users who are used to a 3,5 mm Jack connector do not need to despair. Following Apple's example, Samsung should initially include a special USB-C/3,5 mm Jack adapter with phones, through which classic wired headphones can be connected. However, when users get used to using wireless headphones more, it is possible that even this reduction will disappear from the package.

Whether today's news is true or not, we will have to wait a few more months. All eyes are now directed towards what is to come Galaxy S10, which should still boast a classic jack. But only time will tell whether this is the last flagship with this solution.
