While just a few years ago, bezel-less smartphones were more of a part of science fiction movies, today we already see them quite commonly in everyday life. However, many manufacturers are still not completely satisfied with the current form of smartphones due to the need to keep at least part of the frame at the top due to the speaker and sensors, and are therefore constantly working on solutions to remove even this small cosmetic notch. And according to recent information, Samsung is very far ahead in this regard.

The South Korean giant is now reportedly testing the first prototypes of smartphones with front cameras implemented under the display. This solution would make it possible to stretch the display over the entire front side without disturbing elements such as a cutout in the display or a directly wide upper frame. The camera would be able to capture the user even through the display layer. So far, however, the whole technology seems to be rather in its infancy. But he will soon grow out of those too.

In the past, photos of the model with an implemented camera under the display have already appeared:

If Samsung is successful in the tests, according to some sources, it could already use this innovation in the model Galaxy S11 planned for 2020. In case of complications, the novelty could then be implemented only on the Note11 or S12, but there should not be a longer delay.

So let's be surprised when we will see a similar solution. However, it is already clear that this could be a solid revolution that will be pursued by far more smartphone manufacturers than just Samsung. But whether the South Koreans will win this race is in the stars.
