Mobile payment methods have recently experienced a surge in popularity among users practically all over the world. However, there is nothing to be surprised about. In short, paying by mobile phone is very convenient, fast and liberating, as we can leave the wallet with payment cards at home. However, even this seemingly great service suffers from an annoying problem from time to time. Even Samsung knows about it now.

Internet forums of the South Korean giant have recently started to fill up with contributions from users who point out that Samsung Pay consumes a lot of their battery, which is also evidenced by screenshots. According to some, Samsung's payment service even consumes 60% of the battery's total capacity, due to which the phone's battery life will decrease significantly. Unfortunately, there is no reliable solution at the moment.

As Samsung has tried to help its customers on the forums, it is practically clear that it is already dealing with the problem and will soon release a solution to the world, probably in the form of a system software update Android. Until then, unfortunately, Samsung Pay users suffering from this issue will have no choice but to charge their phone more often and pray for an update to be rolled out soon.
