The application uses the ICON model for its forecasts, which is created by the German Meteorological Institute in Offenbach. This data is one of the best in the world. The German government invested hundreds of millions in the development of the model. The quality of the model thus surpasses, for example, the American GFS model, which is used by the vast majority of meteorological applications.
