Commercial message: When it comes to durability, the rest falls by the wayside. However, this may not always be the case. The durable Evolveo StrongPhone G8 smartphone is proof of that.

The Evolveo brand specializes in rugged smart phones and push-button phones when it comes to mobile phones. The Evolveo StrongPhone G8 model is currently the best model in the range of durable phones of this brand. It was launched in the spring of 2018, so you can find more on it Android 7.0. Compared to its predecessors (StrongPhone 2 and 4), this is a significantly improved model not only in terms of design. Despite its purpose for harsher conditions, this model is close to traditional executive mobiles. However, the slightly industrial design and the first touch suggest that the phone will last.

The mobile meets MIL-STD-810G:2008 and IP68 resistance standards (1,2 meters of water column for 30 minutes). All inputs and outputs of the mobile phone are protected by rubber plugs, the internal rigid frame has a decent but functional rubber edging. The durable glass increases the weight of the phone, but that's understandable. For a mobile phone of this type, the StrongPhone G8 is equipped with a decent amount of internal memory (64 GB), which can be expanded with a microSD card.

The mobile has a hybrid dual slot for two SIM cards or a SIM card and a microSD card. The equipment is similar to executive mobile phones. StrongPhone G8 has a reliably functioning fingerprint reader and is also equipped with NFC technology. The mobile camera, if it has enough light, takes decent photos and video. The main control buttons, located on the side, are metal and have a reliable and sturdy feel. Their surface is roughened for easier use.

In practical use, the mobile worked reliably, quickly, easily and simply paired with external devices via Bluetooth. A pleasant surprise was the ability of the battery to charge quickly. In addition, if you take into account the battery consumption (for example, you will not be online all the time and disable some applications in the background), you do not need to recharge it every day. The good news is that the price has dropped below seven thousand. If you use your phone in harsher conditions, the EvolveoStrongPhone G8 may be a good choice. Unlike ordinary mobile phones, you do not need to purchase additional protective foils, glass or cases. Moreover, in addition to its durability, this mobile phone offers plenty of other functions, just like a full-fledged smartphone.
