Before Galaxy S10 saw the light of day, it was speculated that the smartphone will feature reverse wireless charging. Samsung confirmed these speculations this February, when it announced that the S10e, S10 and S10+ models will be enriched with a function called Wireless PowerShare. This allows users to use their smartphone to wirelessly charge another device.

The Wireless PowerShare feature basically allows you to use the power from your battery Galaxy S10 to charge another device by simply placing the charging device on the back of the phone. This function can be used to charge most devices compatible with the Qi protocol, and it is not limited to Samsung devices.

This is the best way to charge smaller devices, such as wireless headphones Galaxy Buds or smart watch Galaxy or Gear. Of course, you can also use the function to recharge another phone, but the charging time will take much longer. Of course, constant and uninterrupted physical contact between the two devices is absolutely necessary. It's also important to keep in mind that Wireless PowerShare is not fast wireless charging. You should get about 30% power in 10 minutes of charging through this feature. You can use the Wireless PowerShare feature even when the phone you're charging is connected to a wall charger. But it is necessary that the device with which you charge is charged to at least 30%.

You can activate Wireless PowerShare by swiping down from the top of the screen twice after opening quick settings. After that, all you have to do is tap the Wireless PowerShare icon, place the phone screen down and place the device you need to charge on its back. You end charging by separating both devices from each other.
