A few months ago, some media reported that Samsung was working on a new one Galaxy Tab A. It should have had the model designation SM-P205. Today, Samsung officially announced the arrival of a brand new tablet bearing the same model designation. This is really an eight-inch Galaxy Tab A with S Pen support.

The new product has an official name Galaxy Tab A with S Pen 80″. The tablet boasts a TFT display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and IP68 resistance to water and dust. The S Pen stylus fits seamlessly into the body of the tablet, making it completely hassle-free to carry. By supporting the S Pen, Samsung catered to all users who wanted to use a stylus in conjunction with smaller Samsung tablets. But this is not the newer S Pen model that customers will get when they buy Samsung Galaxy Note 9 – it is therefore not possible to use the stylus also as a remote control. But the stylus does not need to be charged at all.

The new eight-inch Samsung Galaxy The Tab A is equipped with an Exynos 7904 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage with microSD card support. The tablet is also equipped with a front 8 Mpx and rear 5 Mpx camera, a USB-C connector, offers LTE support, and a battery with a capacity of 4200 mAh provides enough energy. Product page doesn't say which version Androidu is running on the tablet, but most likely it will be about Android Pie with One UI.
