Whether you are one of the people who travel a lot and need to charge all their devices quickly, or you are a classic home bum, you will definitely like today's reviewed products from Swissten. Specifically, these are fast charging adapters that have Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and Smart Charge functions. These smart fast charging adapters from Swissten are available in two "sizes", where the smaller one has two outputs and the larger one has even five outputs. Of course, Swissten offers countless other adapters. But we will not deal with them in today's review and we will take a look at those with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging support. No need to wait, let's get straight to the point.

Official specification

As I mentioned in the introduction, both adapters under review have the Qualcomm Qucik Charge 3.0 function. There is only one fast-charging USB port on both adapters, the rest are completed by classic Smart Charge USB ports. The difference between Quick Charge and Smart Charge is of course the charging speed, i.e. in the size of the possible output. In case of QC 3.0 output, it is 3,6V - 6,5V/3A, or 6,5V - 9V/2A, or 9V - 12V/1,5A. The other Smart Charge ports are then able to deliver 5V/2,4A output to other devices. As you can see, even the Smart Charge ports can be considered fast charging in a way. The classic output of the apple adapter is 5V/1A, so the Smart Charge adapter is able to supply the device with almost one and a half times more current. Of course, all adapters from Swissten have protective chips that ensure that your device is not damaged, or that the adapter is not damaged. The maximum power of the smaller adapter is 30W, the larger "five-port" adapter can then simultaneously output up to an incredible 50W.

Packing

The packaging of both products is very similar from the outside. As is customary, the packaging of Swissten products is matched to the white-red color, and in this case it is no different. On the sides of the box there is the branding, features and specifications of the product and, of course, the instructions for use must not be missing. The larger adapter has a slightly different box. To open, you need to remove the first layer with specifications. After that, it is enough to open the classic cardboard box, where you will find the adapter itself. In the case of the smaller adapter, there is nothing else inside the package, but for the larger adapter, Swissten packs a kind of "extension" cable into the socket. So you insert the plug into the socket, and then you can take out the adapter itself, for example, on the table or anywhere else in the room.

Processing

As for the processing, I don't have a single complaint. In terms of design, the adapters look great, they are perfectly "clean" and simply look good, both adapters feel robust in the hand. The material used is of course plastic, but it is not a low-quality product, quite the opposite. The processing of the adapters reminds me very much of the same processing that he uses on his adapters Apple. In the case of the smaller adapter, I was slightly surprised by the size, as I expected it to be smaller. On the other hand, I expected the bigger adapter to be bigger, which "evens the score". I was really pleasantly surprised by the size of the larger adapter, as I was expecting a huge brick due to the possibility of charging up to 5 devices at once. However, the adapter fits perfectly in the palm of your hand and is not large at all. I also like the extension cable solution. With it, you can take the adapter practically anywhere and you are not dependent on using all devices within one meter of the socket. The extension cable is two meters long, and if you connect a classic cable to it, you can reach a distance of up to three meters. This was a really great move by Swissten and I'm glad it happened.

Personal experience

When you buy a fast charging adapter, you just expect it to charge quickly. I expected that too, and I have to confirm that it really is. Surely you all know the situation when, exceptionally, you cannot charge your phone after coming home from work or school. You don't expect to go anywhere today, so there's no need for charging. But out of nowhere, a friend calls you with an offer you can't refuse. It should be at your place in half an hour, but you don't have a charged device. Half an hour is a really short period of time in which, in the case of ordinary adapters, your device will be charged to a few percent. However, if you use a fast charging adapter from Swissten with the Quick Charge 3.0 function, you can leave after half an hour with an almost 100% charged phone. According to available information, you should be able to charge a phone within 35 minutes, which would be charged to 20%, to 80% by conventional charging. Of course, this also applies to all other devices and not just phones. For example, most photographers have the same problem with a dead camera or camera. On the day of the photo shoot, they realize they don't have charged batteries. What now? Just reach for the fast charging adapter. Although the battery may not be fully charged, it will definitely have more energy than if you used a classic adapter.

Unfortunately, if you own iPhone, so in this case fast charging using these adapters will not work for you. Your apple phones will charge at the classic speed. Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 works only with devices that support it - usually devices with processors and chips from Qualcomm. In case you would like to use fast charging for Apple device, you must use Power Delivery fast charging. However, Swissten also offers these adapters and we even looked at them as part of the review. Fast charging adapters from Swissten are superbly crafted and can charge all your devices very quickly not only on the go. Whether you reach for a smaller or a larger adapter, I believe you will be satisfied. From my own experience, I can recommend both adapters. However, since we are on a magazine dedicated to the company Apple, so I must not forget to mention that these adapters do not work with apple phones. To quickly charge iPhones, you must use the Power Delivery adapter, which you can also find on the Swissten website.eu. You can also buy high-quality braided and durable cables from Swissten for the adapter, which we also looked at in the review.
