Samsung smartphone owners Galaxy The S8+ were among the first to receive a software security update earlier this month. Now Samsung has come up with another new software update for smartphones Galaxy S8+. Although this update does not bring ground-breaking new functions, users can look forward to, for example, improved camera functionality.

The first country where software updates in the form of security patches for Samsung Galaxy They didn't see the S8+, it was Germany. Samsung is also starting the distribution of today's new update in Germany. This time, the software package is slightly larger than the mentioned security update from the beginning of May. The current update does not, of course, solve security issues - users should expect another full-fledged update in this direction only in the course of the next month.

The documentation for the current update, which is codenamed G955FXXU4DSE4, mentions stability improvements to the smartphone's camera and marginal improvements from the previous security update. While the size of the earlier May update was just over 400MB, today's software package is more than 600MB in size. So it looks like the changes the update is responsible for are happening quietly in the background, but they're not completely insignificant.

The mentioned firmware version for Samsung Galaxy The S8+ is still demonstrably downloadable over-the-air in Germany. If you can't wait, you can download it here. Security updates for Samsung smartphones Galaxy The S8 shouldn't keep you waiting long.
