There are a number of clear cases for Samsung's flagship phones, but the PanzerGlass ClearCase differs from the rest of the range in some aspects. This is because it is a cover, the entire back of which is made of tempered glass with a high degree of hardness. Thanks to this, the packaging is not only really durable, but also offers other useful properties. After all, that is also why we decided to test it in the editorial office.

The ClearCase will arrive in a package with a retractable inner part, which is already quite typical for PanzerGlass. Inside, there is really only a cover equipped with a protective film, which you can tear off practically immediately and put the case on the phone. Informace on the box they also reveal that ClearCase is resistant to scratches, falls and is able to absorb the force of impacts that could damage the phone's components.

The highlighted features are clearly useful, but the most beneficial is the special protection against yellowing. Discoloration after long-term use is a fairly common problem with purely transparent packaging. However, PanzerGlass ClearCase is a step ahead in this regard, and its edges retain a clean, transparent appearance, for example, even after more than a year of use. In this respect, PanzerGlass certainly deserves praise.

As for the complete package, its most interesting part is undoubtedly the back part made of tempered glass. Specifically, it is PanzerGlass glass, basically the same that the manufacturer offers as protection for phone displays. In the case of the packaging, however, the glass is even 43% stronger, so as a result it has a thickness of 0,7 mm and is thus able to offer even higher protection. Despite the higher thickness, support for wireless chargers is maintained. The oleophobic coating also makes the glass fairly resistant to fingerprints, making it more or less clean most of the time, at least compared to glass backs Galaxy S10, which are literally fingerprint magnets.

The edges of the case have anti-slip properties and are made of TPU, so they are understandably softer than the tempered glass on the back. Despite this, the packaging is quite hard overall, which ensures maximum protection. However, it is slightly problematic to remove the case from the phone and a little skill is required. The application, on the other hand, is problem-free. Because of the less flexible edges, you also need to exert more force when pressing the side buttons, but this is not a big obstacle or even a negative.

What I have to praise, however, are the exact cutouts for the port, jack, speaker, microphones and cameras – everything fits perfectly and you can tell that PanzerGlass sewed its case with a new Galaxy S10 truly tailored. All the vulnerable parts of the phone are protected - the edges of the case even extend slightly over the edges, so the phone can be placed with the screen down without fear of scratches. Despite this, however, the ClearCase is compatible with all protective glasses from PanzerGlass (review here)

If you are a fan of minimalism, you want to keep your design as much as possible Galaxy S10 and at the same time protect it as much as possible, then the PanzerGlass ClearCase is a great choice. Personally, I really liked the case and even after more than a month of use, I didn't feel inclined to take it off the phone (and I'm not very fond of covers in general). Discreet design together with high protection and especially protection against yellowing make the PanzerGlass ClearCase probably one of the best cases on the market for the latest Samsung flagships. It is available for all three models – Galaxy S10e, S10 and S10+.
