Samsung unveiled its own gaming monitor at the annual E3 gaming trade show in Los Angeles this week. The 5-inch CRG5 is the first monitor from Samsung to be compatible with Nvidia G-Sync. The CRG49 is the latest addition to the family of innovative curved gaming monitors, such as the monstrous 9-inch CRGXNUMX.

The hottest new product in the field of gaming monitors from Samsung boasts a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the sharpest available 1500R curvature and promises a perfectly immersive gaming experience with its ultra-wide 178° viewing angle. The refresh rate of the display is a respectable 240Hz, the response of the monitor is 4ms. Samsung also promises a contrast ratio of 5:3000 and a maximum brightness of 1 nits for its new CRG300.

In terms of connectivity, the CRG5 is equipped with one DisplayPort 1.2, a pair of HDMI 2.0 ports and a 3,5mm jack. Nvidia G-Sync compatibility ensures a smooth gaming experience with low latency. Users will be able to set a different calibration for different gaming genres and create up to three different profiles for the monitor.

The CRG5 boasts a design with minimal frames on three sides and a stable, ergonomic stand, but the display will also be wall-mountable. Worldwide sales of the latest curved gaming monitor from Samsung will start in the third quarter of this year, its price was set at 399,99 dollars, i.e. roughly a little over 9 thousand crowns.

The dimensions of the monitor without the stand are 616.6 x 472.3 x 250.5 millimeters, the weight without the stand is 4,6 kilograms.
