It's been a few months since Samsung introduced several variants of its smartphone Galaxy S10. One of them was also represented by a model Galaxy The S10+, which boasted a respectable 12GB of RAM. To some, this may seem like too much for a smartphone, but Samsung plans to continue producing phones equipped in this way, and it plans to supply other smartphone vendors with its own 12GB modules. Last week, the company announced that it is fully ready to start mass production of the 12Gb LPDDR5 DRAM module.

This year, Samsung's next flagship model is also to see the light of day Galaxy Note 10. The company will present it on August 7, the new product should start arriving on store shelves on August 23. So it is clear that the production process Galaxy The Note 10 is in full swing, but it is not certain whether the novelty will already be able to boast of this model - at least not worldwide. The Snapdragon 855+ processor it should be Galaxy The Note 10 in the version for the United States and China is equipped, as it is said that it does not offer support for LPDDR5 RAM, and the latest Exynos processor should not offer it either.

The new 12Gb LPDDR5 module is manufactured using the 10nm process and will be used especially by high-end smartphones with higher performance requirements. Compared to the previous generation, LPDDR5 boasts a higher speed and, at the same time, higher efficiency. In addition, they are capable of data transfer speeds of up to 5500 Mb/s, so as part of 12GB of RAM, up to 44GB of data can be transferred in a single second.

In the course of next year, Samsung also plans to start production of 16Gb LPDDR5 modules, but the details remain under wraps for now.
