Samsung released another of its software updates this week. It is dedicated to owners of new smartphones Galaxy  A80 and brings an auto-focus function for the front camera of this model. Samsung Galaxy The A80 has a rotating camera that allows you to deliver the same high quality to both self-portraits and other types of shots.

So one would expect that both camera modes Galaxy The A80 will have exactly the same functions, but unfortunately this is not the case. Fortunately, however, Samsung has decided to compensate for this difference with the help of a new software update. The first reviews have already appeared on the Internet, which confirm that the resulting photos taken in selfie mode and with the camera facing away from the user are quite different in several ways. Camera Galaxy The A80 is not able to "remember" settings between the two modes and does not support features like Scene Optimizer or LED flash when shooting self-portraits.

Problems can also arise with the camera as such, or with the process of turning it. According to a report by Sammobile, even after a week or two of using the device, the camera module may occasionally get stuck while rotating. Understandably, it is not yet possible to objectively assess this phenomenon from a long-term perspective.

The said software update comes with software version A805FXXU2ASG7. Along with this update, Samsung is also releasing a security patch for this July. The update can be downloaded over-the-air or via the Samsung Smart Switch.

Samsung smartphone Galaxy A80 was along with the model Galaxy The A70 was officially introduced at the beginning of April this year, both models are also available on the domestic Samsung website.
