TCL, a leader in the consumer electronics market and the world's second largest TV manufacturer, took home a total of ten different awards at the IFA 2019 trade fair held in Berlin in early September. The recognition for TVs, audio products and automatic washing machines with the TCL brand confirms the ambitions of this manufacturer to become the main brand of consumer electronics products in Europe.
Every year, the respected IFA-PTIA (IFA Product Technical Innovation Award) evaluates top consumer electronics products and the winners are announced in cooperation with the International Data Group (IDG) and the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GIC). According to IFA, the products selected and awarded so far have always been milestones in the development of the consumer electronics industry.
For 2019, 24 products from 20 manufacturers were selected for this prestigious award, which included televisions, air conditioners, automatic washing machines, refrigerators and other consumer electronics products. Among these products, the TCL brand won two awards.
"Home Theater Gold Award" for the TCL X10 Mini LED TV flagship model series with a new generation of displays
This, the world's first Mini LED Android TV and one of the thinnest TVs with Direct LED backlight technology on the market, combines Mini LED backlight with Quantum Dot technology and 4K HDR Premium, Dolby Vision and native HDR10+ 100 HZ formats. The result is sharp blacks and stunning colors. TCL X10 Mini LED is on the platform Android TV with integrated Google Assistant service with voice control options. The television offers an immersive Dolby Atmos sound experience, which, in conjunction with the Onkyo 2.2 soundbar, provides an experience comparable to the quality of a real multi-cinema. Everything is literally framed in an elegant and ultra-thin design. The TCL Mini LED range will come in several sizes and features. A 4K 65″ version with a soundbar will soon be launched on the European market.

This automatic washing machine takes smart technology to a new level and gives new meaning to the words "lifestyle". The washing machine uses ultrasonic cleaning technology - a breakthrough solution compared to existing washing technologies. IFA 2019 witnessed the first-ever introduction of TCL-branded automatic washing machines and refrigerators along with air conditioning products for the European market. TCL wants to provide European consumers with high-performance and energy-saving products, and at the same time wants to present the strategy of this company, which is displayed in the combination of the terms "AI x IoT", that is, the combination of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things for smart homes.
Soundbar TCL RAY∙DANZ represents the latest audio products of the TCL brand and has won seven different awards from various authorities
This soundbar was included in the category "Best New Audio Products at IFA 2019" and "Best Audio Equipment of IFA 2019" by Android Authority and IGN respectively. This original soundbar also won the "Best of IFA 2019" award from media such as Android Headlines, GadgetMatch, Soundguys and Ubergizmo. The "Best Tech of IFA 2019" award was given to the soundbar by the website Digital Trends.
TCL RAY∙DANZ is a soundbar with 3.1 channel sound and Dolby Atmos®, plus it has a wireless subwoofer. The soundbar is designed to provide a premium home audio experience and wide sound field. The latest earbuds, the TCL SOCL 500 TCL headphones, offer a wide range of playful color options and are packaged in a semi-transparent case. The original shipping case allows users to verify that their headphones are inside without having to open the shipping case. The headphones offer a distinctive sound delivery thanks to drivers with a diameter of 5,8 mm. The original solution to the shape of the headphones uses the entire external ear canal for a better and more natural fit. Earplugs with an oval curved acoustic tube provide a better and more comfortable fit for most ears. TCL SOCL 500TWS can handle up to 6,5 hours of continuous playback of audio files. In addition, there is a power source for another 19,5 hours hidden in the power bank of the transport package. The smart design of the Bluetooth antenna allows the headphones to be reliably connected to the music source even in areas with a high concentration of other Bluetooth devices, where there would otherwise be a risk of significant signal interference. TCL SOCL 500TWS meet the conditions of IPX4 certification and resist splashing water. The user can therefore be worry-free when using the headphones, for example during a light rain shower.
