In connection with the gradual introduction of 5G networks into operation, we are not surprised to see an ever-increasing number of smartphones that support this latest type of connectivity. Samsung already has experience in this field, so it is not surprising that it seems to have decided to expand the production of 5G devices even further by tablets with the appropriate connectivity. Samsung is most likely working on its own 5G tablet, according to recently revealed certification documents. If it really succeeds, Samsung can take credit as the manufacturer of the world's first 5G tablet.

Apparently, Samsung has been working intensively on its 5G tablet for several months. This is the 5G variant of the model Galaxy Tab S6. It was discovered that it was currently under development when the device received its Bluetooth certification. 5G version of the Samsung tablet Galaxy The Tab S6 was recently certified by the relevant Korean national agency, which can be seen as further confirmation that the release of the tablet is indeed on the way.

According to the records of the aforementioned agency, the upcoming version carries a tablet Galaxy Tab S6 model designation SM-T866N and has 5G support for 5G connectivity. The letter "N" in this model designation indicates that this particular model is intended for distribution in the territory of South Korea, and there are currently no indications regarding possible later availability in any of the other regions. Likewise, it is not yet clear when exactly the Samsung tablet would be available Galaxy The Tab S6 in the 5G version could reach the shelves of Korean stores. However, the certification data itself is good news, indicating that at least Korean consumers will see the news in the near future.

5G version of the tablet Galaxy The Tab S6 shouldn't be too different from the Wi-Fi and LTE variant. It is expected to feature an AMOLED display and could be powered by a Snapdragon 855 SoC, but the price will be slightly higher than the other two versions.
